Carlisle Indian School (Fall 2003)
In the heart of Carlisle PA is a secret no one wants to identify. On the site
of a current army base, there are the remains in a graveyard of young Native children
who were stolen from their homes across the country and forced to come to Carlisle's
famous Indian School, an institution which occupied the base's land in the latter
half of the 19th century. The amazing story reprinted here was written by Pennsylvania
investigative reporter Stephanie Anderson. Ms. Anderson uncovered a story long
forgotten by many people, though not by the families of the children who died
at the school.

from nuclear power, coal, or oil sources. This is direct action at its best!
Are you sick of death-for-oil politics? Had enough of wondering what our current
administration's ties are to the California energy crisis and the oil industry?
Wish you didn't have to contribute to all of it as much as you currently do? Read
the interview with the Dudley's to get some ideas about how you too can break
away from the cycle of environmental devastation and corruption on which the energy
industry thrive.
